Conference Bridges

The conference bridge line can be used 24x7 to host conference calls. Each department has been assigned its own conference bridge line. Conference bridges line numbers are found in LastPass.

Using the Conference Bridge Number

• For those calling outside of the phone network, 
  • dial the full 10-digit of the Conference Bridge number. 
  • When prompted, enter the PIN (The PIN can be found in LastPass)
  • At the beep, announce yourself
     
• For those calling from a TFCA phone
  • dial the last 4 digits of the conference bridge line.
  • You will NOT be prompted for a PIN
  • At the beep, announce yourself.

Using the Conference Bridge Device

TFCA has several devices for using a Conference Bridges. Any phone can be used. For larger gatherings, there are special devices. They have been lovingly called Mothership and Decepticon (also Defcon). Which one that is used depends on which room the conference bridge call will be made from. 

• Conference calls from an office or a small room with an ethernet connection, use a desk phone
• Conference calls from a medium sized or large room with an ethernet connection, use Decepticon
• Conference calls from a medium sized or large room without an ethernet connection but within signal range of the 34d floor server room, the Mothership.
