Wake Up Your Phone

  • To "wake up" your phone from sleep mode (the screen is black), press the [Phone] button.
  • You can find a co-worker’s extension by pressing the [Contacts] button and using the keypad to filter the list

Make a Call

  • To place a call, you can either:
    • Pick up the handset
    • Press the [Speaker] button

Answer a Call

  • To call an external phone number, press [9] then dial the number including the area code. To dial a co-worker, just enter the 4-digit extension number.
  • There are several ways to answer a call:
    • Lift the handset
    • press the [Speaker] button
    • press the [Line] button that is flashing red.

Place a Call On Hold

  • While on an active call, press the [HOLD] soft key.

Note: On Hold calls can only be answered on the phone that placed the call on hold. If you want a place a call on hold to be picked up on another phone, use either the [Park a call] (section 2.6) or the [Transfer] (section 2.8) feature.

Pick Up a Call On Hold

  • Press the [Line] button that is rapidly flashing red.

Transfer a Call to a Person

  • Press the Transfer soft key
  • Dial the extension you want to transfer the call to. You can either:
    • Wait for someone to answer the call,
    • announce who is on the other line (the caller will not hear your announcement), 
    • press the [Transfer] soft key again or hang up.
    • Press the [Complete] soft key again

Transfer a Call to Voicemail 

  • From an active call
    • Press the [Transfer] soft key.
    • Press the [#] key 
    • Enter the target extension 
    • hang up
